Our Wellbriety circles are facilitated by Jackson Koski, Youth Services Manager at the Canadian Native Friendship Centre.
Inner City High School has been offering Wellbriety Circles for its students in partnership the Canadian Native Friendship Centre. Meetings are held at school on Thursdays at 11 am. The meetings are facilitated by Jackson Koski, Youth Services Manager at the Canadian Native Friendship Centre. Wellbriety is more than just sobriety and recovery, it’s a framework for the role of Native American culture in the healing process of recovery. Wellbriety also draws upon and adapts the philosophies and practices of the Twelve Step process, which contain common principles that are very similar to traditional Native ways of Recovery and Sobriety.
These meetings are not open to the general public but any registered student at Inner City High School can participate. For more information, students or guardians can speak to Tanys or call the school’s reception desk at (780) 424-9425.
