This National Indigenous Day, Tuesday, June 21, Inner City has been invited to join celebrations at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. The day will recognize and celebrate the unique and outstanding contributions of Indigenous peoples. Students and staff will explore a variety of Indigenous experiences, from Métis Dancers & Jiggers, to setting up a tipi, browse Indigenous Artisan vendors market and enjoy a free BBQ featuring Bison Burgers and more! At the event, Elder Gilman Cardinal and Elder Don Langford will lead us in smudge and prayer ceremony.
Buses will leave the school at 9:30 am and return to school after 1:45 pm.
