COVID Changes At Inner City High School | Feb 14/2022

Earlier this week, the province announced it is taking steps to relax COVID-19 protocols.  According to Alberta Education, this is what will change at Inner City High School next week.

Starting on Monday, February 14, 2022, masking for students will be voluntary. At this time, masking will be required for staff and adult visitors. It will also be required for double vaccinated students returning to school after a positive COVID-19 diagnosis and five-day self-isolation period. For those students, masks will become voluntary after five days.

Just like before, if you are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms, you need to stay home. We will also continue to provide COVID rapid tests to students. If you want one, just ask a staff member.

Lastly, we ask that students continue to maintain physical distancing and follow directional signage within the school, including on stairways.

We thank you for doing your part to keep our school community safe and healthy.
