Dallas Arcand | Public Speaker and 3x World Champion Hoop Dancer

Students and staff are pleased to welcome Dallas Arcand, a talented motivational speaker and World Champion Hoop Dancer. Dallas will speak and perform after lunch circle in the gym from 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm.

Arcand is a three-time World Hoop Dancing Champion. He competed at the 33rd annual World Championship Hoop Dance Contest in February 2023 at the Heard Museum in Arizona. He’s from the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) Cree Nation near Edmonton. Arcand is also a renowned musician and motivational speaker, facilitating workshops for aboriginal people of all ages, speaking on topics ranging from self-awareness to personal motivation. He’s a graduate of Mount Royal College with a General Studies Diploma majoring in Behavioural Sciences.

In 2014, in Calgary, three time world hoop dancing champion, Dallas Arcand explains how dancing in circles has taught him to find a healthy balance in life. His journey of self discovery inspired his belief in the ability of circles to restore harmony.
